Neeraj and Jessica’s Hindu Gujarati Wedding at the Langley, Watford, North London.
Neeraj and Jessica – you have been a wonderful couple and covering your wedding was an absolute pleasure and a honour. Jessica, you looked amazing. A real princess. You shone throughout the day. And Neeraj, you made me laugh. You were so cool and calm while looking so good. Both your families and your friends made Charlotte and I feel so very welcomed. You both make a wonderful couple and I wish you both many years of happiness in your married life.
It was building up to be the hottest weekend of the year. The days leading up to Neeraj and Jessica’s Hindu wedding were so hot, they were setting new records!
It was also one of the busiest Hindu Wedding Weekends too with a number of my contemporaries working all around the country covering many special Indian Wedding events for a whole host of different couples.
Our day started early as I met my assistant for the day (Charlotte Southren of Lotties Photography in York). We had agreed to meet near Romford, Essex. Meaning we had to get to West London to start our coverage at the Groom’s home.
Arriving at Neeraj’s house was like being welcomed by long lost friends. His family made us feel extremely welcome – even his little dog was excited! With a beautiful marquee in the garden sheltering us from the Morning sun – we captured some relaxed Groom shots while the family had their breakfast of Indian Savoury snacks and sweet hot tea!
We then proceeded to Jessica’s flat where she was getting ready for her big day. We were welcomed by Jess’ parents who both were looking forward to the day and Jess who looked amazing as she was getting ready with the help of her make up artist. As soon as she had her bridal outfit on, she looked like a different person. So beautiful, so elegant and so chic! Asking her parents to give her a kiss, Jess’ mum instead gave her a little tap with her finger on her nose. This one moment summed up the love between Jess and her parents.
Charlotte and I then made our way to the Langley Banqueting Suites in Watford where the wedding was due to take place. We had already captured some amazing images and it was only 10am!
Upon entering the venue – we were met by the sight of a wonderful Mandap which had the grandness required for a wedding and just the right amount of modern and traditional. The wedding ceremony itself was conducted by the local priest from the Hare Krishna Temple (Bhaktivedanta Manor). Shot in all natural light and with a number of techniques to capture this wonderful wedding we managed to capture the fun, the naughtiness and the love between the couple.
Following the wedding the couple had their drinks reception on the Terrace of the Langley before the actual party was started by the guys from Dynamic Roadshow – guaranteed fun!
I hope you enjoy viewing these images as much as I took taking them! If you’re looking for a Wedding Photographer for your Wedding Day, then please do not hesitate in contacting me. My details are below.
